Rangers early team news v Livingston as Nicolas Raskin misses training since Sunday
Michael Beale has revealed that January signing Nicolas Raskin has missed every Rangers training session since Sunday but confessed he will return to action tomorrow.
The Englishman has also revealed that midfielder John Lundstram is “touch and go” for the Scottish Premiership clash against Livingston on 18 February.
Beale reiterated the fact that he doesn’t yet know who will and who won’t make the clash against Livingston for Rangers this weekend.
“Raskin hasn’t trained since Sunday but will return to training tomorrow – it’s just fatigue,” said Beale as quoted by AtColin on Twitter. (16 February, 2:45 PM)
Earlier on in the pre-match press conference, Beale suggested that Raskin along with fellow midfielder Ryan Jack were both hurt after the Scottish Cup clash.
“Lundstram is touch and go. Raskin and Ryan Jack were hurting after the weekend’s game.
“We don’t know yet who will make it or won’t this weekend. No long-term return news this week.”
Raskin hurting?
Is Raskin already injured after just joining Rangers in January? This latest verdict from Beale suggests that the midfielder might just be on the ropes to make the Livingston clash.
If so, Rangers must be one of the most cursed football teams this season and potentially the game has ever seen.
What’s going on in Rangers training for this to happen constantly and consistently? Has Beale secretly got players training for the WWE?
You’d think so but Rangers even faced injury problems when Giovanni van Brocnkhorst was in charge and ultimately it ruins and kills the campaign.
Rangers two cups to play for and a Scottish Premiership still up for grabs, the Light Blues need as many players fit and firing as they can possibly get.
With luck, Raskin and Jack’s “hurting” claims turn out to be not as bad as first feared, however, it would be a real shame to see Raskin out of action after just arriving at Ibrox.
