Celtic mad John Hartson slams Rangers ace Malik Tillman after what he said recently
Former Celtic player John Hartson has slammed Rangers attacking midfielder Malik Tillman for his recent comments about his future.
Speaking to German publication Kicker, the Bayern Munich loanee left the door open to a potential Ibrox exit as he prioritises regular game time and also took a shot at the playing style of Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
Hartson, who is a Sky Sports pundit, believes that Michael Beale may take offence to what he said in this recent interview.

He said on The Go Radio Football Show, via the Daily Record, “I’m not too sure Michael Beale will be happy with his young star on loan for Bayern Munich coming out and making comments about the style of play and talking about experienced managers like Giovanni van Bronckhorst, a Champions League winner and former Rangers player. He is young and it might have been a bit naive.”
Spoke his mind
We do not see what Tillman did wrong here and it’s probably Hartson’s Celtic cap that’s leading to him making such statements.
The American just spoke about his desire to play football regularly and left the door open to a move because he doesn’t know what the plans are for the future.
Bayern may decide to keep him at the club for next season or even sell him to the highest bidder and that’s not particularly what he wants.

He wants to be a first-team regular wherever he is and surely if Beale wants to keep him at Rangers and Bayern agree, Tillman would not mind a second stint.
Hopefully, all this talk does not affect his performance as he’s doing well at Ibrox and needs to continue making telling contributions to the side.
He has shown his versatility this season and most Rangers fans would be happy to have him at the club next season as well.
