Crucial months.

No one has ever denied that Roofe is a quality asset to have in the team, nevertheless, his injury record at Rangers is starting to take its toll.

The forward has only managed 21 minutes of football so far this season and this simply isn’t good enough to warrant a starting spot in Beale’s side currently.

However, the Englishman and fans alike hold Roofe in high regard and when he does play, he adds a different dimension to the Rangers’ attack that can be crucial in clutch games.

Whether or not Roofe can force his way back into a starting position remains to be seen but having a player of his quality fit and available off the bench would be nice for the Gers heading into the latter part of the campaign.

Roofe’s versatility to play anywhere along the frontline and even in the number 10 role may be the trait that gives him another Ibrox lifeline.

The next few months will be crucial for Roofe and his future at the club will likely depend on them being a success.
