Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos considers signing new deal as he turns down big-money offer from Turkey
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has reportedly rejected a big-money offer from Turkish side Konyaspor ahead of their transfer deadline.
According to the Scottish Sun [8 February], the Super Lig side were told that they were wasting their time in their pursuit of the Colombian attacker.
It’s understood that he’s considering signing a new deal at Ibrox after regaining his form under Michael Beale.
Should stay
Morelos is undoubtedly a talented striker who’s single-handedly won games for Rangers over the last few years.
Despite the signing of Antonio Colak, he still has an important role to play in the side and Beale surely will be telling him that.

He’s found a way to keep both players happy and also get the best out of Morelos – a player who seemed like he had his head elsewhere.
If the only offers he’s getting are from Turkey, then Morelos will certainly be happier plying his trade in the SPFL under a new manager.
Gers will be looking to back Beale in the summer and hopefully, by next season they’ve got a squad ready to challenge Celtic for the title.
There’s no rush for Morelos to make a decision as the window is shut and Gers never really had any plans to cash in on him in January even though his future seemed uncertain.
In other Rangers news, the club have been handed a potential transfer boost as a World Cup striker linked with an Ibrox switch is likely to be available in the summer.
