Richard Keys singles out Rangers as Manchester City saga explodes
Richards Keys pointed out whether Manchester City’s charges are worse than the ones that saw Rangers relegated to the bottom tier of Scottish football after the explosive news emerged on 6 February.
Manchester City have been charged by the Premier League for breaking multiple financial rules in an unprecedented move by the English top flight.
Keys confessed if City will recieve the same “without due process” trial that Rangers faced in a tongue and cheek dig at the Citizens.
“Do we think the charges levelled at City are in any way comparable to/worse than those that saw Rangers relegated to the bottom tier of Scottish football – without due process?,” queried a baffled Keys on Twitter. (6 February, 12:35 PM)
“Good to know their CL titles are safe though.”

Classic Keys.
Keys as ever loves to sproat some nonsense on the old Twitter and trying to put Rangers’ situation in the same breathe as the Manchester City saga is bizarre.
What the Citizens are said to have done is far worse than anything Rangers did and you’d think they deserve a punishment far greater than that of the Light Blues.
Anyway, let’s face it, City were asking to be investigated after they posted more revenues than Real Madrid and Manchester United.
It’s the dark arts of football that no one likes to see and it’s something that has geuinely ruined the beautiful game over the past decade.
Sanctions and punishments are the only way to deal with matters like this one, however, in the greedy world of top level football they are usually avoided by bigger teams.
Something needs to change in the game as a whole and hopefully today’s revelations will bring this about sooner, rather than later.
In other Rangers news, here’s why Ianis Hagi missed the win over Hearts.
