Todd Cantwell to sign four-year contract at Rangers as transfer news drops
Todd Cantwell is on the verge of completing his move to Rangers from Norwich on a four-year contract, according to the Scottish Sun.
Speculations linking Cantwell with an Ibrox switch have been rife in recent weeks and it looks like Michael Beale is finally getting the maestro he desires.
The report claims that Cantwell is now saying his goodbyes to his former teammates at Norwich after a seven-figure bid was accepted by the Championship club.

“Todd Cantwell is on the verge of joining Rangers after a deal was struck with Norwich,” as quoted by the Scottish Sun (19 January)
“The 24-year-old midfielder has said his Carrow Road goodbyes after the Canaries accepted Gers’ seven-figure offer.
“With terms and a fee now agreed, Cantwell will undergo a medical before signing a four-year deal with the Ibrox club.”

Ressurection pending.
Cantwell will be looking to resurrect his career at Ibrox and there is arguably no better manager for him to do so under than Beale himself.
He will become Beale’s first signing and promises a brief look into the kind of players that could be arriving in Glasgow in the near future.
The former England youth star had plenty of admirers this month with PSV and Blackburn Rovers both debating making moves for the 24-year-old.
It seems the Englishman favoured a move to Ibrox to join Beale’s project however and his acquisition could prove to be an extremely shrewd one from the Gers.
Beale still remains undefeated as the Light Blues head coach and will now be able to add Cantwell to the mix in upcoming Scottish Premiership clashes.
Singings like these have been desperately needed and despite the Gers’ upturn in form, it has been clear that new additions were needed to help the squad progress.
In other Rangers news, the club are now fancying their chances of major a January transfer after Fabrizio Romano’s update with a move on the cards.
