Ryan Sessegnon sends three-word message to Alex Colin Kpakpé after Rangers move
Ryan Sessegnon has sent Alex Kpakpe a three-word message after the 18-year-old defender penned a contract at Rangers until the end of this season.
The Light Blues confirmed (10 January) the left-back had signed an academy deal with the club along with Jacob Pazikas, Leyton Grant, Findlay Curtis and Jamie Newton.
Tottenham star Sessegnon has since taken to Instagram to congratulate the former Chelsea youngster on his new deal at Ibrox.

“Good luck Cuz,” wrote Sessegnon (Instagram, 11 January).
Big six months
The 18-year-old has only penned a short-term deal at Ibrox and it’s up to the former Chelsea youngster to prove he is worthy of being offered a more substantial contract.
Rangers have a number of promising young players coming through their ranks and it’s encouraging to see another crop of youth talent be offered the chance to progress at Ibrox. Considering Kpakpé was on the books at Chelsea he is clearly a talented player and could well go on to make an impact for the Gers in the future.

Michael Beale has experience working with younger players and it completely aware of how they can go on to be huge assets moving forward. Furthermore, during his short spell at Queen’s Park Rangers, he was more than happy to trust in youth to deliver results on the pitch.
Nevertheless, the Rangers boss will still be looking to land one or two permanent additions in the January window with Norwich midfielder Todd Cantwell firmly on his radar (Fourth Official, 9 January).
In other Rangers news, a reliable online outlet has shared an update on a reported Gers striker target.
