Michael Beale issues update on Rangers duo Ianis Hagi and John Souttar
Michael Beale has confirmed that Rangers duo Ianis Hagi and John Souttar are making progress and closing in on their first-team return.
They have returned back to contact training which is the next step of their recovery as they fight their long-term injury woes.
Beale expects them to be back in action to feature in games at the end of January.
He said, “By the end of the month, hopefully, we will see Hagi and Souttar return to the team – both are now in contact training.”
Much needed
Hagi and Souttar have been long-term injury worries for Rangers and it would be good to see them back in action.
Souttar was chased in January last season and Gers wanted to get that deal over the line right then.
He will surely strengthen this back line once he’s back and Rangers will not be as porous as the recent weeks.

Even Hagi is known to be a game changer and his return would give the entire side a moral boost and they do desperately need one.
We’re hoping that the injury has not taken too much away from his overall game as he’s absolutely lethal in the final third.
Beale will be happy that everyone is returning back to full fitness, giving him multiple options to pick from.
He’s also going to bring in a few more players in January so we could see a new-look Rangers side from February onwards and perhaps that’s precisely what they need.
In other Rangers news, the club are now fancying their chances of major a January transfer after Fabrizio Romano’s update with a move on the cards.
