Rangers hoping Glen Kamara recovers value after transfer failure
Rangers will be hoping that Glen Kamara can recover his transfer value after a dip in form and a move to France failed to materialise this summer, according to The Athletic.
Kamara has enjoyed a string of starts since Michael Beale took over the reins from Giovanni Van Bronckhorst at Ibrox but still isn’t hitting the heights of last season.
The Athletic confessed that Beale rates Kamara highly, however, the Fins’ neat and tidy style often only compliments the team rather than defining it.

“Kamara is someone Beale rates highly, but he hasn’t found his top form in some time now. His neat but often safe style on the ball lends itself to complementing a team’s style rather than defining it,” as quoted by The Athletic.
“Rangers will hope he can recover some of his value, particularly after a move to France didn’t materialise in the summer.”

Beale ball.
It’s been a mixed start for Rangers under Beale and despite the Englishman winning all three of his opening Scottish Premiership games, performances have left much to be desired.
And this was expected, Beale doesn’t have a magic wand that can wash away the poor form and injury woes the squad have faced this campaign.
One major thing it has highlighted though is the team’s dire need for some investment in January, there is simply no way to progress without it.
With luck, Beale will have some transfer targets already agreed and this is something that the Gers can utilise from moving into the second half of the season.
Until then, the team must continue to grind out results, it’s easier said than done, but it’s still the expectation that every Light Blues player must live up to.
Things are definitely starting to look slightly brighter at Ibrox since Beale’s arrival but there is plenty of work to do, January will be a turning point in the Englishman’s tenure, for good or for worse.
In other Rangers news, a £5million twist has emerged in Southampton’s bid to sign Ryan Kent.
