Superb Adam Devine was Rangers best-attacking outlet in clash v Ross County
Rangers defender Adam Devine was the club’s best-attacking outlet by far in the Scottish Premiership clash against Ross County, according to The Athletic journalist Jordan Campbell.
Devine yet again repaid Michael Beale’s faith in starting him in a classy outing, one which saw the youngster be lauded and gushed about online and beyond.
Campbell confessed that Devine was “superb” against Ross County and could have produced a few assists if he had produced been more clinical on his brilliant runs.
“Adam Devine has been superb. Rangers’ best outlet by far and looks increasingly comfortable at left-back,” said Campbell on Twitter.
“Could have had a few assists if he had just produced that final ball but timed his runs brilliantly – looks like it’s something they’ve worked on.”

Beale dilemma.
Beale is now faced with the ultimate dilemma in upcoming Scottish Premiership games as to where to play and use Devine moving forward.
Devine’s usual position is right-back but he has looked extremely comfortable playing on the left side of the Gers defence in recent outings.
Nevertheless, with usual left-back Borna Barisic returning from the FIFA World Cup, it’s unclear whether Beale will continue to use the young Scot in the position.
Captain James Tavernier will certainly be looking over his shoulder now, although, the Englishman put in a fairly solid outing against Ross County too, after a string of disappointing performances.
This makes Beale’s decision even tougher, surely after Devine’s classy performance against Ross County, the 42-year-old must find a way to incorporate him into the first XI.
Devine feels like a breath of fresh air in this Rangers first-team and hopefully, other youngsters in the squad can follow his suit, it’s a real wake-up call to first-team regulars.
