Rangers fans destroyed after what they were singing in 1-0 win v Ross County
The Scotsman journalist Joel Sked has destroyed Rangers fans for their chanting during the 1-0 win against Ross County on Friday 23 December.
With the game being shown live on Sky Sports, it was clear when Bears were heard singing about Tommy Burns in Dingwall, something which didn’t go down well.
John Lundstram scored the only goal as Michael Beale made it three wins from three, although scenes off the pitch were described as “beyond embarrassing.”

Writing in his latest column for The Scotsman on Saturday 24 December, Sked was left with the same reaction as many as the song was belted around loudly.
“Merry Christmas, Tommy Burns. A festive ditty loudly sung by many Rangers fans within the two-thousand-plus travelling support,” he wrote.
“Designed for one purpose, to annoy and get a rise out of others, namely Celtic fans. Beyond embarrassing and cringeworthy.”

Not good enough.
It is a real shame that the attention has been taken away from Beale and his squad, who made it three from three and are finding ways to finally win games when they are not playing well.
In what is no surprise to anyone likely, if Giovanni van Bronckhrost was still in charge, nine points will probably not have been picked up before Christmas arrives.
There were a number of occasions where Sky Sports silenced out the Rangers fans, with some clearly taking it too far with their chanting throughout.
It will have been few rather than the majority, but that can still not be excused with no place for it in the modern game, that is clear.
With games coming thick and fast as Motherwell and none other than Celtic up next, it is poised to be a huge end to 2022 and start to 2023 across the next 10 days.
