Update emerges on potential Glen Kamara Rangers exit ahead of January transfer window
Glen Kamara is reportedly unlikely to leave Rangers in the January transfer window despite previous claims to the contrary.
According to the Daily Record [23 December], the Finland international has emerged as one of the favourites under Michael Beale’s short reign at the club.
While there is interest from Europe and as many as 10 Ligue 1 teams keen on signing him, a mid-season exit for the 27-year-old does not seem to be on the cards as things stand.

Weird decision
Kamara’s a man in demand ahead of the January transfer window and it does make sense for Rangers to drive up his price.
He has proven to be inconsistent over the last 12 months and we’re not expecting any remarkable changes under Beale.
Rather than hoping he turns a new leaf, the club could decide to cash in on his services and sell him to a club in France.
This could see them making a decent amount of money which they can then go on to invest in other areas of the pitch.
At 27, Kamara may not even get any better and the chances of his value plummeting in the summer are extremely high so it’s a big gamble to not cash in on him.
It remains to be seen why Rangers are deciding to keep him when they could sign Nicolas Raskin who’s six years younger than him and is more versatile as well.
In other Rangers news, the club are now fancying their chances of major a January transfer after Fabrizio Romano’s update with a move on the cards.
