James Sands to be axed in two changes made by Michael Beale – Rangers predicted XI v Ross County

Michael Beale is predicted to make two changes to his starting line-up for Rangers’ Scottish Premiership clash against Ross County on December 22.

Ben Davies and Antonio Colak are expected to return to the side after it was revealed by Beale on December 19 that the Croatian forward would be available for the fixture.

It means that Beale could decide to axe James Sands and Alfredo Morelos from the Rangers starting XI; the American was particularly dreadful against Aberdeen on 20 December and the Colombian is still leaving much to be desired.

Beale could decide to opt for the same 4-2-3-1 lineup, the formation seemed to work in an attacking sense against Aberdeen and provided the Gers with three goals.

McGregor should keep his spot in between the sticks for the Light Blues, the Scottish Premiership veteran has yet again proved his naysayers wrong this campaign.

Adam Devine and James Tavernier could be deployed as the Gers full-backs for the fixture, this is despite the Four Lads Had A Dream revealing on December 21 that Tavernier had been suffering from a bad bout of flu.

Ben Davies could replace James Sands as Connor Goldson’s partner at the centre of Rangers’ defence, Sands’ woeful performance against Aberdeen will surely leave him firmly in Beale’s firing line.

Ryan Jack and Glen Kamara should again be the starting XI’s midfield anchors, this duo seems to be working and needs more time to work things out.

In front of them the exciting and flashy trio of Ryan Kent, Malik Tillman and Fashion Sakala should get the nod to start, Tillman and Sakala have been particularly impressive since Beale’s arrival.

That leaves Antonio Colak to replace Alfredo Morelos up top to spearhead the Rangers’ attack, Beale could look towards the Croatian more now he’s readily fit and available.
