Rangers appoint journalist in executive role as Ibrox news confirmed
Rangers have appointed former Greenock Telegraph journalist Lewis Walker as their new Communications and Content Executive.
The former Scottish journalist shared the news on LinkedIn in a fresh move by the Ibrox club to possibly improve their content output.
Walker confessed he was “delighted” to announce the news of his new position which will start in the New Year ahead of some new changes at the club.

“Bit of personal news, delighted to announce that I will be starting in the role of Communications and Content Executive at Rangers Football Club starting in the new year, really grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to get started,” said Walker on LinkedIn.
This is obviously not the January signing all the Gers have been screaming and shouting for in the new year.

It’s clear.
It’s clear after Michael Beale’s first few games in charge at Rangers that massive reinforcements are needed in January and you would be foolish to think otherwise.
The abundance of heart and desire has been welcomed but Rangers must now add some class to their squad, or they risk being involved in manic games every week.
With luck, Beale will have an idea already of who he wants to bring to Ibrox and hopefully, he’ll have some pulling power within negotiations with players.
There’s also some dead weight within the squad that needs to be gotten rid of, this will likely occur in summer rather than January.
Beale revealed on 22 December that he will make a host of changes to his injury-ravaged side for the Scottish Premiership fixture against Ross County on 23 December.
This is another clear indication that the Gers need to invest in some quality squad depth, it’s going to be interesting to see how a second-string Beale side performs.
In other Rangers news, a journalist has shared what he’s been told as a £6million bid is lined up for a Gers ace.
