Rangers face potential catastrophic Christmas results – Keith Jackson
Rangers face a potential catastrophic slip-up this Christmas with two perilous away trips to Aberdeen and Ross County looming this week, according to journalist Keith Jackson.
The Gers dug deep to secure all three points in Michael Beale’s first Scottish Premiership game in charge at Ibrox on December 15 against Hibernian.
Nevertheless, Jackson confessed that a slip-up in either of the pre-Christmas fixtures could prove to be “catastrophic” for Rangers.

“As a result, Celtic remain nine points clear with two home games to come against Livingston on Wednesday and St Johnstone on Christmas Eve,” said Jackson as quoted by the Daily Record.
“Rangers, on the other hand, must now negotiate two perilous road trips to face Aberdeen and Ross County knowing one more slip up in the frozen north will most likely prove catastrophic.”

All or nothing.
Every Scottish Premiership game is now all or nothing for Rangers and this is nothing new, unfortunately, it’s just the position the team are currently in.
The Gers are in a massive transition phase and it’s likely we won’t see the true nature of Beale’s efforts until the 2023/2024 campaign.
By that point, he will have gotten rid of the dead weight in the team whilst also signing talents that he sees fit for his project moving forward.
Getting the right players in at the club will be vital for whatever success comes Beale’s way, with luck, the hierarchy will give him sufficient funds to do so.
The Hibernian fixture was far from impressive but the Gers did show grit and determination that has seemed lost at times this season and that was nice to see.
Aberdeen is up next for Beale and a convincing win against them will go a long way towards gaining some positive momentum.
In other Rangers news, an out-of-court agreement could be reached for the Gers as documents have been submitted.
