Rangers defender Borna Barisic faces make or break time after Ridvan Yilmaz injury blow
Michael Beale confirmed that Rangers defender Ridvan Yilmaz will be out for a while with a hamstring injury.
The youngster, who joined from Besiktas during the summer transfer window, has barely featured for the Gers this season. Beale has confirmed that the defender has picked up the worst possible hamstring tear [relayed by Four Lads Had a Dream] and is likely to be out for 12 weeks.
The left-back is already six to seven weeks into his rehabilitation phase, which means he will require another five to six weeks (depending on recovery) to get back to full fitness.

It also means that he will miss a chunk of action in December and January.
Unless Beale signs a new left-back (it could be on loan), he will have to rely heavily on Borna Barisic.
The Croatian was involved in the World Cup where he played just one game. After Croatia lost to Argentina in the semi-final, Barisic can expect to take part for Rangers quickly.

This is a make-or-break time for him. Barisic was linked with a move away from Ibrox during the summer The Scotsman [11 June], but the deal didn’t materialise.
Many thought that he would lose his spot in the side following the arrival of Yilmaz. But Barisic did manage 15 games in the league, although his performance has been decent at best.
He has a contract at the club until 2024, and whether he gets a new deal at the club will largely depend on how he fares now.
Beale will need him the most in the next two months which could define Rangers’ season. Let’s hope, Barisic can step up and recapture his best form.
In other Rangers news, an out-of-court agreement could be reached for the Gers as documents have been submitted.
