Rangers make Glen Kamara transfer decision as £6m offer development emerges
Rangers expect to keep hold of Glen Kamara through the January transfer window despite speculation linking him with a move away, according to Dean Jones.
The former Bleacher Report and Eurosport journalist told GiveMeSport on Thursday (15 December) that Michael Beale is a big fan of the 27-year-old Finland international and is looking to play him more regularly than Giovanni van Bronckhorst did.
According to the Daily Record on 9 December, Nantes are at the front of the queue to sign Kamara and are willing to offer £6million to sign him.

However, Jones has heard that the Gers aren’t looking to cash in on the ex-Dundee ace.
“Rangers plan to keep Glen Kamara for now and aren’t actually expecting too much interest in him in January from what I’ve been told,” Jones told GiveMeSport.
“Beale really likes him and would probably look to utilise him while he gets things settled.”

Huge bid
If someone offers us £6million for Kamara, we should snap their hands off.
Look at what’s happened over the years with Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos.
Clubs have been prepared to pay big sums of money for those and they now both look set to leave Ibrox for absolutely nothing next year.
It’s a joke.
Yes, Ross Wilson did well to get the money he did for Nathan Patterson, Joe Aribo and Calvin Bassey. But that only solidifies the case to sell Kamara.
If we’d have hung onto those three players, we doubt their value would have risen this season because we’ve been terrible.
Kamara barely played in the first half of the season and while Beale started him and played him for 87 minutes in the 3-2 win over Hibernian at Ibrox on Thursday, there’s no guarantee that his value will get any higher than £6million.
It’s time to move on some of our players and Kamara is someone who we can turn a good profit on.
In other Rangers news, Beale has revealed what he he told his players at half-time in their 3-2 comeback win over Hibs.
