Kemar Roofe should genuinely worry about his Rangers future after Micheal Beale reveal
Kemar Roofe is fit again but he may not be involved on Thursday (15 December) when Rangers take on Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership clash.
Michael Beale has shared in the pre-match conference that Roofe had been “back in training”, but that the club is taking it easy on him.
Roofe, 29, has made only one appearance in the Scottish Premiership and has managed just nine minutes of football so far.

“Kemar Roofe had been back in training but we just need to take it easy with him,” said Beale, as quoted by Rangers Review.
“There was a chance for him playing at the weekend but it’s me wanting people back and getting the best version back. I don’t want people back to break down within two weeks.”
Roofe should genuinely worry about his future, after hearing the other comments from Beale.
When asked if he will be looking to sell some of his players, Beale bluntly said that “no one’s safe”.
“I think we’ll look to improve. I would say that no one’s safe because I don’t want to bring any fillers into the squad,” said Beale.
Roofe has been really unfortunate with his injuries, and therefore Beale probably could give him time to show his worth. But, he appeared to be clearly unhappy with Roofe’s recurrent injury problems.

The striker was linked with a move away from the club during the summer. The Sun’s Alan Nixon revealed on his Patreon page (24 July) that Sheffield Wednesday emerged as a strong contender to sign him, in addition to various others in England.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst certainly found it hard to use Roofe properly. He is a versatile player who can operate as a striker or as a number 10, or in the wings.
He has a got a decent scoring record, but Rangers already have Alfredo Morelos and Antonio Colak as two quality strikers. Likewise, he doesn’t have that raw pace to play as a winger, and there’s strong competition in the attacking midfield areas.
Put simply, Roofe needs to seize his opportunity when it comes and prove that he can still be a valuable asset to the club. At this moment, he should genuinely worry about his future as he has hardly anything to show for himself, and there’s a lot of competition in his place.
