Newcastle United now keen to sign Rangers player Jack Wylie in transfer news
By Anthony Onifade.
Rangers starlet Jack Wylie is now wanted by Newcastle United as the academy product continues to impress at youth level, according to The Athletic.
Manchester United and Arsenal are also said to be keen on the defender born in 2007, but Rangers are keen to tie him down to a new deal once he turns 16.
The 15-year-old has been catching the eye recently, putting in a string of stellar performances at youth level, and Wylie is the latest talent to make the step up to the under-18s.

Wylie has already won the Under-16 Scottish Football Association’s CAS Cup with Rangers defeating Celtic back in November, and he’s also recently been capped at Under-16 level for Scotland earning a lot of praise for his performances at international level.
Tie Him Down.
With scouts providing a glowing report on Wylie, highlighting his dominance over opponents and his athletic development, versatility and maturity, it is vitally important that Rangers tie down the 15-year-old to new a deal as he could become a future star at the club.
Rangers hold a good record with their academy products over the years, especially in one of their latest talents to come through, Leon King who is currently making a telling impression in the first team.

Wylie could well follow in King’s footsteps, but only if the Gers manage to keep him at the club for the long term.
New manager Michael Beale has a knack for providing youth with opportunities in the first team, as seen at his former club QPR, and if Wylie can continue his stark development at under-18s level, there’s no reason why he can’t feature in Beale’s thinking in the near future.

In other Rangers news, Michael Beale has outlined his desire to sign Malik Tillman on a permanent basis.
