Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent will not sign new Rangers contracts in crushing blow
Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent will likely not sign new Rangers contracts in the latest crushing blow to the club, according to the Daily Record journalist Scott Burns.
It’s been a subject of debate for some time now and it seems like the club is getting noway nearer to the duo signing extensions at Ibrox.
Burns confessed that the “reality” is now that Morelos and Kent will not sign new deals at the club and at least one of the pairing will be sold in January.

“The reality now is that neither are going to sign new deals,” said Burns as quoted by the Daily Record.
“So any offers that come in, Rangers have to weigh up whether they would be better losing the players for free or selling them.”
“I think it is more likely that Morelos would be sold, with Beale looking to keep a hold of Kent.”

The only way.
Kent and Morelos have both stunk for the Gers this campaign, so losing either of them doesn’t seem like the worst of things to happen right now.
Both have had bright spells during their time at Ibrox but the feeling that they are both past their best-performing days for the Gers has been plain to see.
Kent obviously wants out of the club and despite a reunion with Michael Beale potentially being a saving grace for the winger, speculation linking him away from Ibrox continues.
Morelos looks the more likely to be on his way out in January and if his recent Rangers outings are anything to go by, the club will be lucky to get much for his signature.
He looked overweight and way off the pace for Giovanni van Bronckhorst and he’s done little to suggest that he deserves a starting place over Antonio Colak moving forward.
All in all, this Rangers squad are in need of a refresh and getting rid of players like Morelos and Kent is the start of a needed overhaul.
In other Rangers news, this prolific goalscorer is “excited” by speculation linking him with a move to Ibrox in January.
