Michael Beale will lead Rangers pursuit of goals by leading attacking training sessions himself – Florian Kamberi
New Rangers manager Michael Beale is expected to play an attacking, exciting brand of football at Ibrox, and former striker Florian Kamberi revealed to Daily Record how the Gers manager will look to revive their stuttering attack.
The 42-year-old coach arrives at the Glasgow club facing a plethora of problems, but closing the nine-point gap left to league-leaders Celtic by Giovanni van Bronckhorst will prove his primary concern.
Having coached previously at the Glasgow club under former manager Steven Gerrard, the Englishman is reuniting with several of his former players and gets his Scottish Premiership account underway against Hibernian on December 15.

Former Rangers forward Kamberi – who worked under Beale at Ibrox – admitted that Englishman led a number of the offensive drills in training himself and was always leading the pursuit for an extra cutting edge in front of goal.
He told Daily Record: “When we got the ball from the defence or the midfield it was always, ‘where are our strikers’? It was all about offensive football, creating chances and scoring goals.
“I think Mick will do exactly the same again now he is manager at Rangers. He did a lot of work with the offensive side of the squad, from the shooting drills or coming up with something to give us that extra bit of quality in the final third.
“I think that is also how Mick worked at QPR with two coaches under him. One specialised in defence, the other midfield and Mick did a lot of the attacking work, so you have a good mix there. Mick was always trying to improve us individually as a player and together as a team.
“If he sees something you can do better then he will show you and point it out to you. You could definitely see he loved working with the attacking players.”

Exciting football
Beale is renowned for his expansive and attacking style of football from his short stint at QPR, as well as after numerous coaching positions across the English football leagues.
His readiness to give youth an opportunity to shine has reaped its rewards during his short managerial career to date, and it is needless to say, fans are excited at the coach blooding some of the academy’s brightest talent.
The Gers have lacked a goalscoring spark so far this season -especially in the run-up to the World Cup – and this was potentially one of the main reasons the Englishman was hired for the role.
In just 15 games so far this season, the Glasgow club have already scored 16 fewer goals than fierce rivals Celtic, who in turn have stretched a considerable lead at the top of the SPL table.
However, during Gerrard and Beale’s league title victory at Rangers in the 2020/21 season, goals were flying in on a regular basis, netting an astonishing 92 goals over the season – and 14 more than The Hoops.
