Ligue 1 outfits Nice and Marseille eyeing up Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara
Top Ligue 1 outfits Nice and Marseille are eyeing up a transfer for Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara alongside several other European clubs, according to journalist Ignazio Genuardi.
Many thought Kamara would be given another Ibrox lifeline under Michael Beale but it seems his future may lie outside of the Scottish Premiership.
The Goal journalist also confessed that Kamara is on the shelf of another Ligue 1 team, Nantes, so the Finnish international certainly isn’t short of options.
“A time watched by Nice and Marseille, Glen Kamara keeps the rating in Ligue 1,” said Genuardi on Twitter.
“On the departure of Rangers, the Finnish international environment appears in particular on the shelves of Nantes. Several European formations are monitoring this issue more or less closely.”

En route.
Italian news outlet Tutto Salernitana reported on 3 December that Kamara wants out of Ibrox, so the midfielder looks set to be en route to France or elsewhere in Europe.
Kamara is still under contract at the Gers until 2025, which will give the club some bargaining power in this transfer story, expect some millions to come in for the Fin.
If the player wants out then Rangers should cash in on him, there is no point keeping him at the club if he doesn’t want to be part of Beale’s project moving forward.
This is a shame, as Kamara flourished under Steven Gerrard and Beale’s guidance during the Englishman’s first stint at Ibrox.
It was thought that Beale’s arrival as the new head coach would provide Kamara with another chance to thrive in Glasgow but it seems this theory is wide of the mark.
Saying that, Kamara has been disappointing this campaign and hasn’t been playing games, so getting a decent sum for him wouldn’t go amiss.
