Rangers fan interrupted mid-SNP rant as Stewart Robertson tried to restore order

There were a lot of questions directed at the Rangers board on Tuesday (6 December) as the club’s annual general meeting took place.

But one individual provided a major flashpoint of the meeting as he went on a surprising rant about the club while directing some fire towards the Scottish National Party.

Stewart Robertson eventually stepped in and denied the man from going on any further to appreciation from the rest of the room.

“Firstly, I want to congratulate you for delivering positive results for Rangers as a board. Rangers got to the European Cup Final, we won the Scottish Cup and we got into the Champions League,” the man said, as quoted by The Herald.

“However, my question to the board – apart from Michael (Beale) – is: Can you really say, hand on heart, that you showed honour to your fellow human being in 2021, when people like me got a blue letter like this, and did not comply with tyrannical instructions from the Scottish Nasty Party.

“They implemented digital ID via coercion, and you complied. People like me, who have supported Rangers from a young age, not allowed to come into the stadium, outside like dogs. That was segregation, discrimination. It’s been proven that the vaccine-“

Robertson then interjected: “Can we move on to the next question, please?”

Why?

Everybody knows about the rules put in place during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and governments worldwide were having to make it up on the spot having not experienced such a thing for decades.

Football clubs were among the companies that had to abide by these regulations and any flagrance of the law could have seen severe penalties applied so they were not willing to take any risks.

It is such a strange use of your time with the people who make all the big decisions at Rangers and something that nobody in the room could believe or thought would happen.

Robertson was well within his rights to interrupt the supporter who could have easily gone on for ages had he been allowed to as the AGM threatened to get wildly off-topic.

The meeting has to be used to get any major problems sorted out or at least plans to do so otherwise the whole event will have been a total waste of time.

In other Rangers news, the Bears have been given the hurry up in pursuit of this monstrous striker currently plying his trade in England.
