Rangers plan four major exits as transfer assets laid bare – Chris Jack
Questions have been raised over the transfer planning of Rangers Sporting Director Ross Wilson as four major players could leave the club at once, according to journalist Chris Jack.
Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, Ryan Jack and Steven Davis are all on the verge of leaving the Gers at the same time in one big transfer exit swoop as their contracts run down.
Jack confessed that these exits have highlighted Wilson’s questionable transfer “planning processes” with Rangers assets in short supply.

“The record-breaking fees received for Nathan Patterson and Calvin Bassey during the winter and summer windows are highlights of the player trading model. Talents must be produced or sourced, be successful and then be sold on,” said Jack as quoted by Rangers Review.
“Assets are now in short supply, however. And the situation that sees so many players – including the likes of Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, Ryan Jack and Steven Davis – potentially leaving at the one time has raised questions about Wilson’s planning processes.”

Facts.
The best way to build money for transfer funds to bring new talents to the club is to sell existing top performers at the club, this is pretty obvious, right?
Record-breaking transfer fees for Nathan Patterson and Calvin Bassey are highlights of this model, but Rangers need to capitalise on spending this money when they get it.
Unfortunately, the club have done little to bring in any more star talents since these departures and it leaves the team in a tricky transfer scenario as Jack highlighted.
Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield, Ryan Jack and Steven Davis all leaving at once leave the Gers squad depth depleted and all these names do little to bring in any cash flow.
Rangers need to build towards a transfer model where they build talents and sell them for lucrative prices, it’s tried and tested and can work wonders at Ibrox.
This trend starts, however, from the boardroom and until drastic changes are made there, then fans can expect more of the same regarding transfers.
In other Rangers news, a former Ibrox chief has slammed the current board for their decision to hire Beale.
