Kevin Thomson appears open to Rangers and Michael Beale reunion after what he posted on social media recently

Kevin Thomson appears to have thrown his name into the mix to work as part of Michael Beale’s backroom staff at Rangers.

Beale was announced Gers manager earlier this week and brought in a few of his coaches with him to Ibrox.

However, he did confirm that there were others who could be joining within the coming weeks and Thomsson has been one of the names linked with a return.

Amid all the speculation, Thomson posted a picture of him being a coach on the field and was spotted in the Rangers kit.

This could be a massive coincidence or it could be the fact that he’s actually keen on returning to the Ibrox.

Discussing this, Gordon Dalziel said on Clyde 1’s Superscoreboard, “If Kevin Thomson may be the guy because of the connection before, but you can’t just go right we want a manager, but we are going to throw in a few Rangers guys because of the club.”

The Daily Record even reported that the duo were friends and stayed in touch after Beale left Ibrox to join Aston Villa.

Beale even considered bringing him to QPR once he became the number one at Loftus Road and may decide to turn to him once again as part of his backroom overhaul.

It would be good to see Thomson coming back as he knows the culture of the club and the players would also welcome him back with open arms.

In other Rangers news, the club had a record-breaking striker on trial at Ibrox and he’s gone on to make headlines in the United Kingdom.
