Alex Lowry to surely be given Rangers chance under Michael Beale after ‘magic’ moment in last 24 hours
Alex Lowry has been a player on the periphery of proceedings for Rangers this season with Giovanni van Bronckhorst reluctant to give the youngster game time.
An injury hasn’t helped the 19-year-old’s cause, but there is no doubting his technical ability. He certainly has the talent to star in the first team, and it does feel as if he will go on to be a real asset for the Gers in the future.
With Tom Lawrence still out injured, the Gers have lacked creativity in midfield and the youngster could well be the key to Rangers unlocking stubborn defences.
Michael Beale has finally taken the Ibrox hot seat and held his first training session at Auchenhowie on Tuesday (29 November). Fortunately for Lowry, the cameras managed to capture a brilliant piece of skill from the 19-year-old to leave James Tavernier for dead (JackBalf72, Twitter, 29 November). The Daily Record (29 November) even referred to the training ground moment as “magic” from the Rangers youngster.

With Beale being a young and progressive coach, there should be hope that he will look to incorporate some of the Gers’ hottest prospects into the first team. Zak Lovelace is another player who has caught the eye for the B team and should be given a first-team shot at some point.
Giving these younger players first-team experience will be crucial for their development and could well see them go on to be crucial for Beale’s Rangers in the future. The Ibrox faithful will be hoping for some more magic moments from Lowry in the second half of the season.
In other Rangers news, Michael Stewart slammed Beale for an “unsavoury” incident at Ibrox.
