Rangers exodus continues as another senior figure quits post Michael Beale appointment

Dave Vos has confirmed on Twitter that he has left Rangers with immediate effect after Michael Beale was announced as the manager.

After months of poor results, the Gers hierarchy finally parted ways with Giovanni van Bronckhorst and commenced their managerial search.

They interviewed a number of people before picking Beale and his arrival has seen the former assistant part ways with the Ibrox outfit.

Vos wrote on Twitter, “I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to play a part in this special club. It has been an absolute honour. Especially the players who gave everything every day, the people who guard the culture at the club and do everything to perform but also made us feel at home.

“And of course the supporters you have shown me how special this club is and have taken the team to unbelievable heights. The road to Seville, winning the Scottish Cup and qualifying for the CL. Rangers will always be special to me. I wish everyone the best of luck in the future.”

New era

This is no surprise that van Brockhorst’s core team has now departed as Beale wants his men to come in and impart fresh ideas.

Under the Dutchman, things had gotten stale and it’s good to see most of his trusted henchmen now out of the club.

This is a new era under Beale and fans know what they can expect from him as he was very effective as an assistant under Steven Gerrard.

It’ll be interesting to see what sort of manager he is to his former mentor and if he manages to replicate his successes, he can surely surpass his legacy at the club.

We cannot wait for the good times to begin and it’s a good thing that they have made this appointment in the World Cup break.

This will give him time to get to know some of the newer players and start working on his philosophies at the club.

In other Rangers news, Ross Wilson is put on high alert as a “Magnificent” midfielder is now prepared to leave his club in the January transfer window amid Ibrox links.
