Michael Beale wishlist emerges as he closes in on Rangers return

Michael Beale reportedly wants to bring “several” coaches and analysts from QPR with him as he closes in on the Rangers manager position.

According to the Scottish Sun in the late hours of Saturday, 26 November, Gers expect to make an official announcement of his acquisition in the next 48 hours.

The majority of the Gers squad will return to training on Monday and there’s a good chance that Beale could be revealed as the manager roughly around the same time.

Rangers

Almost done

Barring any last-minute hurdles, it seems to be that Beale will be the next Rangers manager and will complete his return to Ibrox.

He left the club as a largely popular figure being Steven Gerrard’s assistant and there was always a bitter feeling about him going.

His tactical acumen was always highly talked about and he did get his big break at QPR where he did well and then was offered the Wolves job.

He snubbed a move there but it looks like an opportunity to join Rangers is too good to turn down and he’s ready for the challenges that come with it.

It’s good that he wants a number of his trusted henchmen walking through the door with him and we do not think Gers should have a problem sanctioning those appointments.

They have allowed Gerrard and Giovanni van Bronckhorst to bring in a number of backroom additions and we do not see someone like Beale being denied the opportunity.

In other Rangers news, a fresh twist has emerged with a former Ibrox defender now being added to the managerial shortlist despite advancement in talks with Michael Beale.
