Rangers set to receive massive injury boost as Ianis Hagi shares latest snaps
Rangers winger Ianis Hagi has hinted on Instagram that he is on the road to recovery after missing actions for almost a year.
The Romanian international has shared images of him working alone in training, with a caption on Instagram – “On a daily basis.” He also posted a few images of training on the Instagram story as well.
The players are enjoying a winter break as the World Cup takes centre stage, but Hagi is working hard to get himself for the first-team at the earliest.
Hagi hasn’t featured for the Gers since January when he picked up an ACL injury during the Scottish Cup clash against Stirling Albion.
At first, he was confident that his injury wasn’t serious, but it was later revealed that he would need surgery. Since then, it has been a long road to recovery for the 24-year-old winger, but it seems he is in the final stages of his full fitness.
He will be eyeing to make a comeback against Hibernian on December 15 when the club football resumes. However, he will be short of match fitness, and the club need to handle his situation with care.
Having said that, his return to action will come as a huge boost for the club ahead of the January window and it would be like a new signing for them.
Hagi is a quality player and Rangers have missed him badly. Rangers will face Bayer Leverkusen on December 10 in a friendly game, and it remains to be seen if Hagi would be fully fit to make a return to action.
