Brian Laudrup believes Giovanni van Bronckhorst wants Rangers sack decision made
Brian Laudrup believes that Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst wants a decision over his future made for him and very soon.
The Dutchman has travelled back to the Netherlands for some time with his family after the Premiership paused for the World Cup but his future is still very much up in the air.
Former Light Blues player Laudrup could see in van Bronckhorst’s demeanour after the 1-1 draw at St Mirren that he wants to see a decision made.

“The Dutchman has been through so much this season. Saturday’s 1-1 draw with St Mirren was yet another blow. It was more of the same, really,” Laudrup said in his Daily Mail column.
“After the game, van Bronckhorst spoke about not being certain whether he would still be in charge after the World Cup break.
“Again, to me, it looked like someone who wanted a decision to be made on whether he is the man or not. That’s now down to the Ibrox board.
“I said last week that the call on whether to back van Bronckhorst or make a change had to come early in the World Cup break. I noticed Kenny Miller saying something similar at the weekend. It just makes sense.”
Why wait?
The discussions over van Bronckhorst’s future should have been ongoing for days now ever since the disappointing draw in Paisley and there can’t be any delay in making this decision.

It isn’t just the results that are causing disgruntlement within the Ibrox fanbase but the lack of exciting, attacking football meaning that the Gers rarely look like picking up three points.
If the Light Blues want any hopes of catching Celtic in the Premiership title race then they have to take the decision to sack the manager now and bring somebody in ready to resume the season after the World Cup.
There will be managers available over the break that Ross Wilson and company can go and get if they wish and with Ange Postecoglu’s Hoops showing no signs of letting their foot off the gas, Rangers simply cannot afford another game of dropped points.
It has been a wild year but time is now up for van Bronckhorst in Glasgow.
In other Rangers news, the future of this Ibrox defender is in doubt after what a source close to him said.
