Jeff Stelling sends message to Rangers fans as Celtic take nine-point lead in Scottish Premiership
Jeff Stelling believes the Scottish Premiership title race is all but done after Rangers fell nine points behind Celtic following a draw with St Mirren.
The Gers were held to a 1-1 draw with lowly St Mirren, as the pressure on Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s job mounts with the season now paused for a month for the World Cup.
Speaking on Sky Sports News after the game on Saturday (12 November, 05:13pm), Stelling said: “Scottish Premiership is looking very good as far as Celtic are concerned.

“Look at the gap – or don’t, if you’re a Rangers fan – because it’s nine points right now,” he said.
“Rangers held at St Mirren today. Celtic made to work for their win against Ross County but they got there in the end and consequently, they have that nine-point advantage over Rangers.”
Shocking
Another shocking performance, from a side that have totally given up hope of being crowned champions of Scotland once again this season and we’re still in November.
The manager has seemingly lost the will of the players to follow instructions and give everything plus a little bit more as they had done in the past.
The rest of the league have figured out his stale tactics and philosophy, and he is seemingly refusing to change it up in order to get a fresh tune out of his squad.
They say that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, and it feels as though the board are doing just that by keeping him at the club.
This next month is a huge moment in the history of the club and efforts must be made to ensure the club is moving forward, and that means going on without Gio.
In other Rangers news, the Gers are readying a £5million bid to sign a new forward in January.
