Tam McManus reacts to Alfredo Morelos display after Rangers manager draw v St Mirren
Tam McManus has taken a sarcastic dig at Alfredo Morelos after Rangers suffered a 1-1 draw against St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership clash on Saturday (12 November).
Morelos had a nightmare time against St Mirren and his only contribution was picking up a yellow card in the second half. The striker had an effort saved towards the end of the game, but overall he was poor.
McManus compared Morelos with former Celtic player Regi Blinker. With this result surely, Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s job is under serious threat now.
McManus wrote on Twitter: “Morelos wow, having a Regi Blinker.”
Time up
Surely, the Rangers board will have to act now.
Barry Ferguson has said recently that he wants his former teammate to give be given funds in January to turn it around, but Van Bronckhorst can’t be trusted anymore.
These are the games the Bears should be winning. Apart from Ryan Kent, there was very little effort from other players, and the style of football is one-dimensional at the moment.
At this rate, Celtic will win the title at a canter. Van Bronckhorst has been given a lot of time to rectify the problems, but surely he is out of his depth now.

The Gers must sack him now and take the winter break to find the right replacement. As far as Morelos is concerned, he looks completely disinterested.
He has a contract at the club until the end of the season, and the Bears must take a bold decision on him quickly.
For a striker of his ability and experience, he was walking on the pitch like a passenger. It’s a complete mess at the moment.
In other Rangers news, the Gers are ready to bid £5million to beat Celtic to the signing of one of their long-term targets.
