Ross Wilson clearly holds Rangers transfer secrets as he hangs Giovanni van Bronckhorst out to dry

Ross Wilson appears to be dodging any real serious criticism at Rangers as Giovanni van Bronckhorst gets set to fight the sack once again at St Mirren.

The Bears travel there on Saturday 12th November, with the Dutchman knowing that nothing but three points will do if he wants to keep his job going into the World Cup.

What makes it worst is that no planning appears to be done for the January transfer window, and if it has, Wilson has left the manager in the dark in case he is no longer here.

Rangers

Speaking in his latest press conference on Friday 11th November, as shared on Twitter, it was clear that Van Bronckhorst did not have a clue about transfers.

“I don’t know,” he said with a puzzled look.

“At the moment, I’m focusing on St Mirren. The window is still closed for one and a half months, we have to be more clinical, we get in so many positions and have chances to score. The big difference we need to make is to score more goals.”

Compare this to Ange Postecoglou who was very open in admitting that most of his January business at Celtic may already be done and ready to go.

Embarrassing.

Could things get any worst at Ibrox?

Our transfer policy has been nothing short of shocking in recent years, especially since the summer, and Wilson is in position to take the blame for that.

The issues on the pitch are just as bad because of that though, so how no transfer plan has been put in place yet is simply mind-boggling.

If Van Bronckhorst doesn’t know, then who does?

The manager is simply being hung out to dry right now with every media meeting while the likes of Wilson go to games and hang their heads in shame, Douglas Park included.

It will take something special to turn this around moving forward with the seven-point gap already in play, with a collapse now needed across Glasgow for our success.

Should Van Bronckhorst get his marching orders, there is no doubt Wilson should be packing his bags and following him away from Govan after his numerous errors.

In other Rangers news, two managers with a lot of English Premier League experience have been named as “serious contenders” for the Ibrox job
