Rangers official partner calls for Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Ross Wilson sack after St Mirren draw
Four Lads Had a Dream have sent a message to the Rangers board calling for the sack of Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Ross Wilson.
The official partners of the Ibrox club were exasperated watching their side play out a 1-1 draw against St Mirren with the Dutchman’s job on the line.
They want the club to act in the break for the World Cup and make the big decision to axe the manager along with the sporting director.
Via Twitter, they wrote, “Rangers board stop hiding. Van Bronckhorst and Ross Wilson out.”
Has to go
He cannot be given chance after chance without delivering the results and we’re surprised that it’s even taken this long for the club to act.
Ideally, he should’ve gone after the first four Champions League defeats as the manner of those were embarrassing.
However, they didn’t do anything then and even in the league, they kept dropping points and can be nine behind Celtic if the Hoops win on Saturday.
No successful professional club acts like this and Gers are going many steps behind this season rather than building on 2021/22.
We’re struggling to understand how Wilson and van Bronckhorst still have contracts at the club and they both need to be gone ahead of the January window.
The club needs to make the decision and announcement now and then give themselves time over the World Cup break to find a replacement.
In other Rangers news, Nicola Sturgeon has been called out amid a worrying recent development at Ibrox.
