Ally McCoist and Chris Sutton predict results of Celtic v Ross County and St Mirren v Rangers

Ally McCoist and Chris Sutton have made their predictions for Rangers’ game against St. Mirren and Celtic’s fixture with Ross County.

Rangers lost even more pace on Celtic after their damning defeat to St. Johnstone and every game for Giovanni van Bronckhorst is now in the must-win category.

The duo predicted wins for both Rangers and Celtic this weekend, as the Scottish giants continue to clash at the top of the Premiership table.

Sutton and McCoist made their predictions live on BT Sports’ Scottish Football (11 November, 18.32), with the pair giving Celtic a big win.

Sutton believes Celtic will win 3-1 against Ross County, whilst McCoist believes they’ll come out 4-1 on top.

The dynamic duo differed slightly again on the Rangers vs. St. Mirren result, with Sutton opting for a 2-1 win to Gers, whilst McCoist sees them winning 2-0.

Dead man walking.

Saturday afternoon’s clash really is do or die for Rangers head coach van Bronckhorst, his job has never been more on the line than now.

And despite a midweek win over Hearts, any more slip-ups from the Dutchman will likely prove to be the fatal blow.

Something needs to change at Rangers, they have slipped into mediocrity far too often this campaign and it simply isn’t good enough.

The shackles need to be taken off and the team need to start making more of the chances they create.

Rangers need a lift right now and it’s just hard to see any passion being displayed from van Bronckhorst in recent interviews.

It’s like he already knows he is a dead man walking and is simply just waiting for his inevitable sack to arrive.

He’s become a bit of an easy target recently and can’t take all the blame, but the pressure lies in his hands to turn things around at Ibrox.
