Borna Barisic should’ve thought twice before making weird Rangers comment
Rangers defender Borna Barisic often comes up with wired comments that leave everyone scratching their head.
Ahead of the game against St Mirren, Barisic touched on a lot of topics, including the current season, which hasn’t gone according to plans so far.
The defender says that since he has arrived at Ibrox, he has seen ups and downs at the club, but not on a personal level!

“I’ve been here a long time, I know the expectation of the club. Since I’ve been here, I’ve had big ups and downs. Not me personally, but the club,” said Barisic, as quoted by the Daily Record.
Barisic joined the club in 2018 and he has made over 170 appearances for the club. He was one of the key players under Steven Gerrard and helped the club win the Scottish Premiership title a couple of seasons back.
However, Barisic hasn’t always been consistent, and there have been equal ups and downs in his career.
Barisic struggled under Giovanni van Bronckhorst last season and was dreadful in the 3-0 defeat against Celtic at Parched. He was taken off at half-time and had to wait for a long time to make a return to the side.

He almost lost his place in the side and there were even suggestions that he could be sold in the summer,
The Daily Record reported on 11 June that several Turkish clubs showed interest in signing Barisic, while Nottingham Forest were also keen.
Barisic was been decent so far, but there have been games where he was absolutely pathetic.
So, Barisic can’t simply say that he didn’t have a personal share of ups and downs at the club. It’s a weird comment to make, and that is definitely not true.
In other Rangers news, this former Premier League manager is a “standout” choice to replace van Bronckhorst if he’s sacked.
