Rangers schedule new Giovanni van Bronckhorst press conference

Rangers have decided to schedule their latest press conference for Tuesday 8th November, according to the Daily Record.

The newspaper has reported the booking as speculation continues to swirl aggressively on Giovanni van Bronckhorst being sacked from his duties at Ibrox.

Unfortunately for those who want the Dutchman out, this is just him likely meeting the media ahead of the game with Hearts on Wednesday as he remains in charge.

Writing on their official Twitter account, the Daily Record shared what to expect next at Ibrox in the coming hours as speculation continues to swirl.

“What next for Gio van Bronckhorst?” they wrote.

“The Rangers boss remains in charge and will meet the media on Tuesday.”

Grilling.

With the majority of the press inside press conference at Rangers being fan-led partners, it may not be a pleasant press conference for Van Bronckhorst.

The likes of Four Lads Had a Dream have made it very clear that they would like the manager gone, with the board not currently listening to the pleas from the stands.

Hearts don’t have the best of records at Ibrox, and that may be a saving grace, but the fact is that this has already gone too far and action should have been taken already.

Rangers were embarrassed in Europe and didn’t even compete and have now dropped seven points behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership title race, which may not even be a race anymore.

Have we become a club that will settle for challenging for cup competitions and nowhere else? Have we missed something when that changed?

It isn’t good enough from everyone involved, and change is needed.
