Rangers chairman Douglas Park snubs invitation from Club 1872 as Giovanni van Bronckhorst faces uncertain future
Rangers chairman Douglas Park has reportedly snubbed the invitation sent to him recently to meet with Club 1872 on 21 November.
According to Glasgow Evening Times journalist Chris Jack, the Gers shareholders invited Park to a Q&A event and he’s decided not to respond to it.
The meeting was expected to be about the general running of the club as well as potentially the future of Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Man up
Park cannot keep hiding from fans, especially if those fans hold a stake in the club he’s in charge of.
Club 1872 are the sixth largest shareholders of the club and while they just own five per cent, plans are to get to 25 per cent in the future.
The way Rangers is run is rotten and fans demand an answer for why the people in charge are not being held to task.
The buck stops with the manager unfortunately and they’ll think that by sacking van Bronckhorst, they’ll be giving the fans what they want.
But that is not the case as the fans do not want such a situation to ever arise in the future.
Ross Wilson, too, has been underperforming in his role as sporting director and with the Dutchman, the club need to relieve him of his duties too as things cannot carry on like this in the future.
In other Rangers news, Nicola Sturgeon has been called out amid a worrying recent development at Ibrox.
