Michael Beale would be ideal to replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst as new Rangers manager
Rangers must do whatever they can to convince Michael Beale to return to the club and this time become the number one at Ibrox.
In an interview with Sky Sports on 7 November, Steven Gerrard’s former assistant revealed that he’s still got friends on the Rangers board.
This would mean that in case they approach him, he may be more comfortable saying yes as these are familiar surroundings for him.

He said, “It’s a wonderful club, I had a wonderful time there and obviously my daughter was born there as well. My family loved it.
“I’m really friendly with everyone on the board. I got a lot of friends in the city after living there for the best part of four years.”
From these words, it’s pretty clear that he’s had fond memories in Glasgow and a return to this environment would not be the worst decision for him from a professional as well as personal perspective.
He may be in London right now – the city where he was born – but he’s got fond memories attached to Scotland and Rangers and it’s clearly a step up from QPR.
His arrival could put the 55-time champions back in the hunt for the title and doing that will lead to Champions League football which is not something he would’ve ever envisaged at Loftus Road.
He may feel that Wolves was too big a job for him so he can follow the route Gerrard did before getting a Premier League job.
We would be extremely surprised if the Gers hierarchy does not even approach Beale should they decide to sack Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
Sun journalist Alan Nixon even claimed on 16 October that he was at the top of their managerial shortlist should they get rid of the Dutchman.
In other Rangers news, Nicola Sturgeon has been called out amid a worrying recent development at Ibrox.
