Official club partner calls for Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Ross Wilson to leave Rangers ‘immediately’

Four Lads Had A Dream have called for Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Ross Wilson to leave Rangers “immediately” after the club’s 2-1 defeat to St Johnstone.

The Bears fell seven points behind Celtic at the top of the table after two wondergoals were enough to see off a poor display, despite James Tavernier’s late consolation goal.

And reacting on Twitter after going two goals down during the second half, the club’s official partner made their feelings unequivocally clear.

“Van Bronckhorst and Wilson out this club immediately,” they said on their personal Twitter account (6 November).

“Time for the board to stop hiding and sort this mess out.”

Change

There is no question now that Van Bronckhorst absolutely has to leave, and Wilson should be right behind him on the way out if he isn’t gone first.

Van Bronckhorst had a great run with the side after taking over from Steven Gerrard last season and had a memorable journey in Europe that will live with fans forever.

But it shouldn’t be forgotten that he saw the club have a six point lead in the league and watched Celtic lift the title, and now has us seven points behind them despite having “his” squad.

Wilson and the board haven’t backed him adequately for a European run like he deserved, but there’s no doubting that this team should be beating the likes of St Johnstone comfortably.

Everyone has had enough now and there is a perfect period to fix this with the World Cup coming up. There is no need to delay the inevitable. Get them out.
