John Lundstram returns to Rangers squad as Johnly Yfeko included v St Johnstone
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has included teenager Johnly Yfeko in his Rangers squad to face St Johnstone on Sunday afternoon (6 November).
The 19-year-old had been spotted in first-team training prior to the Light Blues’ Champions League game away at Napoli but has yet to make his senior debut for the Ibrox club.
However, with defensive reinforcements very thin for van Bronckhorst, he could make the bench away at St Johnstone as the Daily Record name him in the provisional Rangers squad for the game.

As well as the teenager, John Lundstram returns to the squad having been suspended for their previous fixture in the Champions League thanks to a succession of yellow cards.
Charlie McCann is also included in the travelling contingent to McDiarmid Park but there appears to be no place for Alex Lowry just yet as he continues to make a steady recovery from injury at Auchenhowie.
Desperate times
A wave of injuries has forced van Bronckhorst back into a corner in terms of selection and even though Ben Davies could yet make the cut for the game, Yfeko was a necessity.
Davies will undergo a late fitness test to determine whether he can play a part against the Saints but Leon King and James Sands are thought to be the two who will start at the back.

The Dutchman in the dugout was maybe only one or two more injuries away from having to dust the cobwebs off his own boots at Ibrox with players dropping like flies.
With King and Sands fit and ready to go at McDiarmid Park, it might be wise to not risk Davies if he is on the edge of being available despite the World Cup break looming for players to get back to fitness.
Yfeko deserves his chance having recently signed a new deal to keep him at the club until the summer of 2024 and he may not be needed anyway so just the experience will do him the world of good.
In other Rangers news, the demands of the Light Blues are being investigated by a European club as they court this Ibrox sensation.
