Andy Walker tears Antonio Colak and Ryan Kent to shreds live on Sky as Rangers lose 2-1 v St Johnstone
Andy Walker has torn Ryan Kent and Antonio Colak to shreds after their performances for Rangers in the Light Blues’ 2-1 defeat to St Johnstone.
Goals from James Brown and Nicky Clarke were enough for the home side to heap further pressure on the shoulders of Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
Rangers were toothless going forward and Walker hasn’t held back in his assessment of Colak and Kent’s displays on Sunday (6 November).

He said [Sky Sports Football, 02:11 pm]: “Colak is a top player. He did nothing today. Kent has got massive ability. James Brown kept him quiet, the latest in a long line of wing-backs and full-backs that have kept Kent quiet.
“All those big Rangers players that should be making a difference, I didn’t see any evidence of them playing well today.”
Awful
Something surely has to give when it comes to the Dutchman’s tenure at the club. This season has been nothing short of a disaster for the Gers, and off the back of the Europa League final run, it’s completely unacceptable. This group of players are devoid of any fight, quality or consistency and right now it’s hard to see how they will turn it around under the 47-year-old.
With the World Cup fast approaching it looks like an ideal time for the club to make a change in the dugout and finally relieve van Bronckhorst from his duties. His signings haven’t worked out and this group of players desperately need a fresh approach.

The board at Ibrox aren’t exempt from this, with their lack of investment in the summer window, clearly having an impact on the field. If Rangers had reinvested the Calvin Bassey money properly in the squad then it could well have been a very different story this season.
In other Rangers news, this Celtic chief wants private talks with the Gers after an incident that was brought up at their AGM.
