Ally McCoist shares van Bronckhorst sack verdict live on Sky Sports as Rangers lose 2-1 v St Johnstone
Questions will be asked of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s future at Rangers after a 2-1 defeat to St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on Sunday, according to Ian Crocker.
Rangers are now seven points behind Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic in the race for the title to go on top of a disastrous Champions League group stage campaign for the Govan outfit.
Ally McCoist agrees with Sky Sports commentator Crocker for saying that van Bronckhorst’s future at Ibrox is now under serious doubt.

“There will be questions asked about Giovanni van Bronckhorst – again – if this situation doesn’t change,” said Crocker on Sky Sports Football on Sunday (6 November, 01:19pm).
McCoist replied: “Absolutely. Something has to give in the next half-hour or so.”
Sacked in the morning?
Get him gone.
Van Bronckhorst over-achieved last season to get us to the Europa League final but even looking back at those games, it was probably more the players going above and beyond than his tactics or anything like that.
We won the Scottish Cup, a minimum requirement, but conceded the title back to Celtic and now, we’re miles off it already in early November.
No European football after Christmas. And the Scottish Premiership title race could even be over before Santa makes his way down the chimney next month.

Now is the time to sack van Bronckhorst.
If he’s gone now, there’s a head-start on the World Cup break, which is a great time to get in a new manager.
Other clubs will do the same so if we make the move now, it might stop us being beaten to a top new boss by teams south of the border or in Europe.
In other Rangers news, this Celtic chief wants private talks with the Gers after an incident that was brought up at their AGM.
