Rangers demands for Ridvan Yilmaz being investigated by European club
Trabzonspor are currently investigating the demands of Rangers for them to sign Ridvan Yilmaz on loan, according to Fanatik.
The 21-year-old had been frustrated by a lack of games at Ibrox having signed for £3.5million in the summer from Besiktas, also in Turkey, but he had forced his way into the side after a stellar performance away at Napoli in the Champions League.
But the following weekend against Aberdeen, the Turkish international was forced off with an injury which sees him ruled out of games for now.

Despite that, Trabzonspor are looking to Glasgow to potentially bring him quickly back to his homeland in a loan deal to the end of the season while he is not getting overly-regular games.
They are in need of a left-back and don’t only have Yilmaz on their radar which could see them go after a different option if Rangers’ requests are too much for them to afford.
Going nowhere
A month ago when Yilmaz was wasting away on the bench and Borna Barisic was starting every game, a loan move back to Turkey would have made a lot of sense but not anymore.
He proved against Napoli that he is a very good left-back and somebody who should be starting ahead of Barisic when he is fit and it won’t be long before he is back and doing exactly that.

Trabzonspor are welcome to try and sign him on loan but it could cost them an absolute fortune if he starts to fulfil the very obvious potential he has.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst also can’t afford to lose him right now with no natural backup or replacement if anything were to happen to Barisic.
January is still a long way away for both clubs at the moment, though, and there could easily be a lot of developments in Scotland and Turkey that change the dynamic of this potential deal greatly.
