Kemar Roofe is ‘finished’ at Rangers, ‘We’re not going to see him again’ – journalist
Kemar Roofe has made just two appearances for Rangers this season, and the 29-year-old now again finds himself back on the sidelines.
Injuries have plagued Rangers all season, and constant setbacks to Roofe have not helped Giovanni van Bronckhorst at all.
Roofe returned to the side in October to face Dundee, but in the following league game against Livingston, he lasted just nine minutes before again leaving the pitch with an injury.

His unavailability is a nuisance to Van Bronckhorst, and Rangers Review writer Derek Clark has gone as far as to say Roofe is “finished” at Ibrox.
Speaking on the Rangers Review Youtube channel, Clark said: “Came back, had a bit of a cameo against Dundee and then that was him out again.
“So we’re not going to see him again. Van Bronckhorst said a couple of weeks. We’re talking he’ll come back after the World Cup break.
“Will we see him again in a Rangers jersey? I’ve no idea.
“Roofe is finished.”
Unreliable
With so many other injuries and issues with squad depth, what Rangers can’t afford right now is a striker who is consistently unavailable for selection.
Alfredo Morelos and Antonio Colak have been regulars for Gers this season, but Van Bronckhorst has been refused any other attacking option through Roofe’s constant injuries.

It’s not a one-off either. Roofe made just 17 appearances last season as he again struggled with injuries, and Rangers can’t afford to keep patience with him.
The quicker Rangers offload Roofe the better. He’s been a good servant for the club when available, but Gers need to be finding a consistent goalscorer that can improve the side.
As it stands, all Roofe does is weaken the squad depth. If not January offers come in, the club needs to find a way of offloading him in the summer.
The club have plenty of areas that need addressing in the transfer window, but Rangers need to be just as efficient in getting players out of the dressing room as they do bringing them in.
