John Lundstram makes Celtic admission after Rangers win v Aberdeen
John Lundstram has suggested that Rangers players don’t discuss Celtic in the dressing room unless they have a match with their rivals.
The Bears earned a 4-1 win against Aberdeen at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership clash on Saturday (29 October) where Lundstram was one of the scorers for the home side.
Antonio Colak, Alfredo Morelos and James Tavernier were the other scorers for the Bears as they close the gap with Celtic with one point, having played a game more.
Via Twitter, Rangers partner Four Lads Had A Dream shared what Lundstram said when asked about sending Celtic a message ahead of their game, “We don’t discuss Celtic in our dressing room unless we play them. We know our jobs and what we have to do, it’s about us and what we do.”
Strong message
Lundstram was arguably the best player on the pitch against Aberdeen on Saturday, and he received heaps of praise from his manager after the game as well.
After going behind, the Gers played with a lot of intensity, something that was missing from their previous games.
With backs to the wall, the players finally took their game to the next level. The scoreline doesn’t give a proper reflection of how dominant the Bears were against the Dons. It could have easily been six or seven.
The recent performances have been below par and the results have been equally poor. However, they now should rebuild and look to develop momentum.

Lundstram has delivered a strong message here. There’s no point discussing Celtic at the moment. They can only focus on their own games, and aim to pick maximum points.
It’s a long race, and they must continue to put pressure on Celtic and hope that they will drop points on their way.
More than anything else, the Bears must focus on their own improvement at the moment.
