Rangers must get a move on with Robbie Ure new contract
Rangers have managed to get some of their younger assets tied down to new deals with Adam Devine the most recent player to put pen to paper.
However, there are still a few glaring contract negotiations that desperately need looking into. Leon King has gained attention from the Premier League with Leeds, Newcastle and Manchester United all taking a look at the 18-year-old (Fabrizio Romano, 10 October).
King’s contract is up in the summer of 2024 so the Gers do have a little bit more time to negotiate with the youngster, however, there is one player Rangers need to offer a new contract to, and quick.

Robbie Ure scored on his first-team debut for the Gers against Queen of the South and sees his current deal at Ibrox come to a close in the summer of 2023.
Ure has eleven goals and four assists in all competitions so far this season and much like King will be attracting attention from elsewhere, particularly in the Premier League, with clubs now looking to younger British players due to the impact of leaving the European Union.
An 18-year-old striker who is scoring goals for fun, with first team experience and who could be available on a free will have admirers from south of the border.

The Gers were reportedly (Football Insider, 31 August) set to open contract discussions with the youngster, but those talks have clearly been shelved. If Ure is tapped up or his agent sniffs a better deal elsewhere, negotiations could prove to be difficult for the Ibrox hierarchy.
There is plenty of promising talent at Ibrox and it’s essential Ross Wilson doesn’t allow any of these assets depart Ibrox for below their value.
In other Rangers news, this Gers star was involved in a “naughty” incident that had a BT Sport pundit talking live on air.
