Kenny Miller blasts Rangers attack, labels Antonio Colak scoring run as ‘absolutely unsustainable’
Kenny Miller has blasted the Rangers attack and said they “don’t look like scoring” after they dropped points at Ibrox against Livingston on Saturday.
The Gers found themselves behind inside five minutes and only managed an equaliser in second half stoppage time thanks to John Lundstram, with Livingston down to ten men after a VAR decision.
But speaking to BBC Radio Scotland [23 October], Miller felt bad for top scorer Antonio Colak who has seen the goals dry up in recent weeks and said his previous run of form was “absolutely unsustainable”, and implored the team to do more for him.

“I don’t think they look like scoring,” he said.
“They aren’t creating enough chances. When you talk about the Hearts result, the Ross County and St Mirren; Antonio Colak ’s conversion rate of chances was absolutely unsustainable. He was scoring pretty much every opportunity they got.
“When you look at yesterday’s game, he had three or four half chances. One he got across the defender at the front post and got a big toe on it and it just sneaked past.
“He had two headers second half just go over the bar. An acrobatic scissor kick just past the post. Those type of things were going in. Rangers have not been creating a lot of chances and getting the forward the right service.”
Change
Rangers started the season really well, scoring a lot of goals and playing some great attacking football.
But after getting battered by Celtic in September, Van Bronckhorst seems to have gone into his shell with his team and his style and Rangers are awful to watch and nowhere near as effective.

Colak has been extremely efficient with his chances this season and done well enough to keep Alfredo Morelos out of the team, but neither striker is being used to their best strengths and it’s affecting results.
The Champions League thumpings haven’t helped confidence, but Van Bronckhorst has to do more to give his team a platform to succeed otherwise nothing will change.
Whether it’s the style, the mentality or the manager himself, we need to see changes at Ibrox and quickly if we’re to get our season back on track before the World Cup break next month takes place.
