Pundit would have Celtic forward Liel Abada in his team over Rangers star Ryan Kent ‘every day of the week’
Tam McManus would rather have in his team than Rangers star Ryan Kent after the Celtic attacker scored twice in his side’s win over Motherwell on Thursday.
Abada, 21, scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season at Fir Park as Celtic progressed to the Premier Sports Cup semi-finals.
Kent, 25, has struggled this term and has just one goal to his name in all competitions.

And ex-Hibs striker McManus seems to prefer Celtic’s Abada to the Rangers ace.
Writing via his personal Twitter account, McManus said: “Tremendous finish again from Abada.
“Would have him in my team every day of the week before Ryan Kent.
“Goals and assists. End product.”
Kent has to step up
Kent has been underwhelming for a while now.
People will say that it’s just been this season but there were large spells of last term where the former Liverpool winger failed to shine.
His performances in the Europa League made up for how poor he was in the league.
It’s all well and good playing out of your skin against Borussia Dortmund – but why can’t he play the same in games against Dundee United, Livingston or Celtic?
Kent is set to leave on a free transfer next year, as it stands.
His contract expires at the end of this season and there’s no doubt that clubs in England will be queuing up to sign him.
However, they won’t be Premier League clubs. It’ll be teams in England’s second-tier who’ll be after Kent because he’s been absolutely rotten for us this season.
Abada is younger, scoring more goals and looks as though he cares when he takes to the field.
Kent doesn’t do that at all.
In other Rangers news, this Gers player “knows he’s done” after BBC Sportscene shared footage of him.
