Fashion Sakala in ‘naughty’ incident as footage shows Rangers forward kicking Dundee man Cammy Kerr
Fashion Sakala was involved in a “naughty” incident with Cameron Kerr as Rangers beat Dundee in the Premier Sports Cup on Wednesday night.
Sakala was booked in the second half of the Gers’ 1-0 win at Ibrox after a coming together with Kerr, who was also shown a yellow card.
Premier Sports’ replay showed Sakala and Kerr going down together with one another, followed by the 25-year-old Zambian leaving his studs on Kerr’s leg.

“It’s a tangle of legs to start with,” said Thomson on Premier Sports 1 on Wednesday night (19 October, 09:34pm).
“Sakala leaves his boot in on Kerr. It certainly looks like he does a wee bit.
“It’s a bit naughty from Sakala.”

Risky
Sakala could have been sent off for that.
If VAR was in operation, there’s a good chance Willie Collum would have upgraded his yellow card for Sakala to a red one because you just cannot do that.
It was perhaps borne of frustration.
Sakala was terrible against the Dark Blues.
He offered absolutely nothing in terms of an end-product.
He couldn’t get into the box, his crossing was wayward and he wasn’t on the same wavelength as the full-backs with Giovanni van Bronckhorst trying him out on both wings.
Sakala needs to go, in truth.
He’s not Rangers quality and is a damning show of how bad recruitment has become at Ibrox under Ross Wilson.
It’s just good job we didn’t have to pay a transfer fee for the former Oostende forward, who’s only really performed when we’ve played against Motherwell.
In other Rangers news, this Gers player “knows he’s done” after BBC Sportscene shared footage of him.
